Pet Stain & Odor Treatment · Long Beach, CA
Cleaning carpet and treating pet urine are two different jobs.
Pet accidents can affect carpet fibers, backing, pad and sometimes the subfloor. ACC evaluates the affected area and recommends an appropriate treatment based on severity, material and how deeply contamination has migrated.
Why Odors Come Back
Surface cleaning may improve appearance without reaching contamination below the carpet face. Humidity and moisture can also make residual odor noticeable again — which is why a room can smell fine on a dry afternoon and not on a damp morning.
The correct approach depends on how widespread and how deep the issue is. That’s why we inspect before we quote a treatment, rather than selling the same add-on to everyone.
Levels of Contamination
We inspect first, then recommend the least invasive treatment we believe will actually solve the problem — and we’ll tell you if we don’t think a treatment will get you where you want to be.
Recent, isolated accidents. Topical treatment with the cleaning often addresses both the spot and the smell.
Repeat spots that have soaked through. Sub-surface application and extraction targeted at the affected areas.
Long-standing or widespread contamination. May call for pad replacement or other work beyond cleaning — we'll explain the options and the honest limits of each.
We don’t guarantee complete stain or odor removal. Some discoloration or odor can be permanent depending on age, chemistry, prior treatments, fiber type and contamination depth. We’ll explain the likely outcome before work begins — not after.
Rental Turnovers
Pet-related carpet concerns are one of the most common turnover problems property managers call us about. We’ll inspect the unit, tell you honestly whether treatment or replacement is the better use of the budget, and document what we find.
Carpet cleaning starts at $185 and includes up to 2 standard rooms, 300 sq. ft. total. Specialty treatments are additional and always quoted before we begin.
While We're There
The cleaning removes the soil; the treatment addresses the odor. Add both to one quote and we’ll do them in the same visit.
Starting at $185 — up to 2 standard rooms, 300 sq. ft. total.
Where the dog actually sleeps.
Often the worst-affected piece.
Grout can hold odor too.

Tell us which areas are affected and how long it’s been going on, and we’ll recommend the treatment that fits the actual contamination.
